What are the Skid Shoes and How to install them?
Using Skid Shoes is an essential step to enhancing the Snow Blower Module's performance on uneven surfaces. It makes it possible for the snow blower to move smoothly over a wide range of surfaces, such as pavements or gravel since they lift the snow blower slightly so that the Scraper Bar does not touch the ground. Moreover, the Skid Shoes not only protect the surface that is being cleared but also the snow blower itself, since they leave a small gap between the auger housing and the ground to ensure that Yarbo and the cleared surface wear less.
Installation Steps for Skid Shoes on Yarbo:
Step 1: Insert the bolts through the designated holes on the auger housing.
Step 2: Attach the Skid Shoes onto the bolts for both the left and right sides. Utilize the nuts from the provided bag to securely connect the Skid Shoes to the auger housing.
Step 3: Using Allen Key #2, firmly tighten the nuts to ensure a secure and stable installation.
