Robot not docking correctly (offset from base/erratic behavior near base)

Possible causes:

  1. Temporary electronic or firmware related issue
  2. Bad charge station board
  3. Guide wire not in correct position
  4. Signal Interference

Diagnostic steps:

  1. Turn the robot off and on
    Temporary electronic or firmware related issue
  2. Confirm there is nothing causing interference
  3. Check guide wire position
  4. Recalibrate guide wire
  5. Power cycle charge station and re-pair to robot
  6. Replace charge station board
  7. If the problem remains, contact Autmow or your nearest approved servicing dealer.

Procedures:

Calibrate guide wire:

  1. Make sure robot is turned on and unlocked.
  2. GoTo: Menu
  3. Hold down keys “7 & 9” simultaneously (wrench icon should show in screen)
  4. Click “OK”
  5. Scroll down to “Calibrate” then Click “OK”.
  6. It should show “Guide calibration” then Click “OK”.
  7. Follow instructions on screen.
Calibration complete

Re-pair Robot with Charge Base:

  1. Make sure robot is turned on and unlocked.
  2. GoTo: Menu
  3. Click on “Lock Icon” (Security) then Click “OK”
  4. Enter PIN Code
  5. Scroll down to “Advanced” then Click “OK”
  6. Select “New Loop Signal” then Click “OK”
  7. Follow instructions on screen.
