Procedure after 4G Communications Board upgrade

All models, except 320, 330X and 330XH which are not compatible with the CBT5 board.

Description:

Due to the cancellation of the 2G and 3G cellular network, all Automower Connect boards Com-board 1, 3 and 4 (supporting 2G and 3G cellular network) have to be replaced with Com-board 5 (supporting 2G and 4G). This is valid for new Automower Connect kits in stock and for all Connect kits mounted in mowers.

Note: The mower will not stop working, it ́s only the ability to connect to the machine from a greater distance and the ability to track it if stolen that will be lost. It is still possible to connect to the mower via Bluetooth.

Procedures:

  1.  Install new comm board 597 31 72-05 (4G Connect Board) and update Firmware
  2. Use AutoMower®Connect App to Unpair Mower and Re-pair with new board
               o   Open App the GoTo “My mowers”   
               o   Click on “Unpair mower”
         
    o   Click on “+” sign in top right corner, then choose your mower model
  3.            o   Follow instructions on the mower Control Panel
