Mower cannot make it back to charging station (battery empty)

Models 430/450
Issue:
Mower not finding its way back to the charging station so stops in yard with “Empty Battery” error message.

Possible causes:

  1. Finding charging station by “Guide” is disabled
  2. “Guide wire” is not set correctly

Procedures:

Make sure finding charging station by Guide is turned on:
  1. On the mower – go to “Installation” menu
  2. GoTo “Find charging station”
  3. GoTo “Overview of search method”
  4. GoTo “Guide” and make sure it is “Enabled” (ON)

Test or Reset Guide Wire (to area):
  1. On the mower – go to “Installation” menu
  2. GoTo “Lawn Coverage”
  3. Turn OFF “GPS Auto” / Overview of lawn coverage / Area 1-5
  4. Select the Area where you are having the issue / More / Test or Reset
    Note: When doing the Test, after selecting Test push OK then Start and close hatch


Test or Reset Guide Wire (return to charging station
  1. On the mower – go to “Installation” menu
  2. GoTo “Find charging station”
  3. GoTo “Overview of search method”
  4. GoTo “Guide”  / “More” / “Test”
    Note: When doing the Test, place the mower in the correct work area 3 m / 9 ft. from the boundary wire, facing the boundary wire selecting Test push OK then Start and close hatch
