How to Set Parameters for a Work Area?

Where to find the Area Settings page?

Method 1: Accessing Area Setting from Modify Page
  1. Access 'My Map' Page: Begin by clicking on the icon located in the upper-right corner, directing you to the 'My Map' page where you manage and customize your map settings.

  2. Enter Modification Mode: Click on 'Modify' to enter the modification mode. This mode will allow you to access various customization options, including the parameter setting of the Work Area.

  3. Select the Targeted Area: From the available list, choose the specific area you intend to adjust by clicking on it. This selection enables you to make modifications tailored to that particular zone.

  4. Access Area Setting: Once you have selected the area, click on the settings icon associated with that area. This action opens the settings page dedicated to the chosen area, allowing you to make detailed adjustments according to your preferences.

Method 2: Accessing Area Setting During Work Plan Execution
  1. To access the area setting page, the ongoing work plan has to be pasued. You can manually pause the plan before entering the settings page, or upon accessing the settings page, a pop-up window will prompt you to pause the plan for parameter adjustments. If you click 'confirm' in the pop-up window, the plan will be paused, allowing you to modify the area settings without any interference.
  2. After modifying the parameters of area settings to your satisfaction, don't forget to save the changes. Keep in mind that making changes will keep the work plan paused until you manually resume it.

  1. Navigate to 'My Map' Page: Click on the icon in the upper-right corner to visit the 'My Map' page.

  2. Pause and Access Area Settings: To enter the area setting page during an ongoing work plan, pause the plan manually before entering the settimngs. Alternatively, if you access the settings directly, a pop-up window will appear, asking if you want to pause the plan for adjustments. Click 'confirm' to pause the work plan and access the area settings page.

  3. Modify Settings: On the Area Setting page, make the necessary modifications to parameters such as Overlap, Auger Speed Mode, Auger Minimum Height, and Deflector Angle.

  4. Save Changes: Ensure that any changes made are saved within the Area Settings Page.

  5. Resume Work Plan: Manually resume the work plan to allow Yarbo to continue its operations with the updated settings. This can typically be done through the same interface used to pause the plan.

What can you do with the area setting?

  1. Overlap:
Function: Adjusts the amount of overlap between each pass of Yarbo during its operation.
Description: Overlap determines how much the cleaning paths of adjacent passes overlap. Increasing overlap ensures thorough coverage but may result in slower progress while decreasing overlap may speed up the cleaning process but could leave some areas untouched.
  1. Auger Speed Mode:
Function: Controls the auger speed with four distinct modes, Quiet, Mild, Robuts, and Turbo. This component is responsible for collecting and processing snow.
Description: Auger Speed Mode allows you to set the operating speed of the auger. Different snow conditions may require varying speeds for optimal performance. Choose the mode that best suits the current snow characteristics, ensuring effective snow removal.
Difference between four distinct modes:
  • Quiet Mode
Characteristics: Operates at a lower speed with reduced noise output.
Use Case: Ideal for situations where minimizing noise is a priority, such as in residential areas during early morning or late evening.
  • Mild Mode
Characteristics: A moderate speed setting, balancing performance and noise level.
Use Case: Suitable for typical snow conditions, providing a good compromise between efficiency and noise output.
  • Robust Mode
Characteristics: Runs at a higher speed for more aggressive snow removal.
Use Case: Effective for heavier snowfall or denser snow conditions, providing increased power and performance.
  • Turbo Mode
Characteristics: Maximal speed setting for the most demanding snow removal tasks.
Use Case: Designed for extreme snow conditions or large snow accumulation, offering the highest level of power and efficiency.
  1. Auger Minimum Height:
Function: Sets the minimum height of the auger above the ground level.
Description: This feature determines how close the auger comes to the ground. Adjusting the Auger Minimum Height is crucial for preventing damage to the device and ensuring efficient snow removal. Setting an appropriate minimum height avoids unnecessary contact with the ground and potential obstructions.
  1. Deflector Angle:
Function: Manages the angle of the deflector, which directs the expelled snow.
Description: The Deflector Angle determines the direction in which the snow is thrown. By adjusting this angle, you can control where the cleared snow is deposited. This feature is particularly useful for directing snow away from specific areas or pathways.
