Grease Lubrication Purchase Guideline

Grease Lubrication Purchase Guideline

Thank you for choosing Yarbo. To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Yarbo device, please follow the grease lubrication guidelines below to help you choose and apply the right grease.

Grease Lubrication Types:

All of these three types are applicable
  • High Vacuum Grease
    • Recommended for applications with high vacuum conditions.
    • Ideal for sealing and lubricating vacuum systems.
  • Vacuum Grease
    • Suitable for general-purpose lubrication in vacuum environments.
    • Provides effective sealing and protection against moisture and contaminants.
  • Silicone Lubricating Material
    • Versatile lubricant suitable for various applications.
    • Offers excellent thermal stability and water resistance.

Grease Characteristics: The grease should satisfy the following criteria
  • Morphology: Opt for a grease with a paste-like consistency for ease of application and adherence to surfaces.
  • Viscosity:  Choose a grease with high viscosity to ensure adequate lubrication, especially in challenging operating conditions.
  • Volatility: Opt for a grease with low volatility to minimize evaporation and ensure long-lasting lubrication.

Temperature Range:
  • Grease should be suitable for temperatures ranging from -30°C to 100°C (-22°F to 212°F).
  • Ensure the selected grease maintains its consistency and effectiveness across the specified temperature range.

Compatibility:
  • Ensure the chosen grease is non-corrosive to Yarbo device components, including rubber and nylon parts.

Additional Tips:
  1. Frequency of Application:
  • Regularly reapply grease based on usage and environmental conditions to ensure consistent protection.
  • Create a lubrication schedule to maintain optimal performance.
  1. Cleaning:
  • Before reapplication, thoroughly clean the contact points to remove old grease, dirt, and debris.
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents to ensure a clean and smooth surface.
  1. Storage:
  • Store the grease in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent degradation.
  • Ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent contamination.
  1. Consult Yarbo Support:
  • If unsure about the right grease or application technique, contact Yarbo's technical support for guidance.
